An iCal is an Internet (online) Calendar that is used to transfer information. An iCal is used for channels that do not have a direct connection to NightsBridge.
The iCal link allows a channel to see if you have availability or not.
iCals are files which are formatted to enable the exchange of calendar information from one system to another.
How availability works?
- Your third party calendar pulls availability from NightsBridge.
- The frequency of this update is set within the third party calendar and so will differ between calendars. This may cause a delay in how often the availability is updated.
How rates work?
- iCal links do not pull through your rates, You will still need to load your rates on the third-party site.
How bookings work?
- Bookings which are made on your third party calendar do not pull through to your NightsBridge calendar. NightsBridge will not receive the bookings made on these sites
- You need to manually capture your bookings which were made on your third party calendar into your NightsBridge calendar. This makes sure you keep you availability updated on NightsBridge.
- You will need to capture your rates manually to the site
