How to provide negotiated rates to a contracted booking channel using Web Rates

Making negotiated rates available to contracted booking channels can be setup on NightsBridge in a few steps.

This tutorial will guide you through:

  1. Requesting a link to the booking channel
  2. Creating the STO rate sheet (this hosts the rates)
  3. Linking the STO rate sheet to the booking channel (this sends the rates)

Have you requested the link to the booking channel

Once your link to a booking channel is active, it will be available within the list of channels on Web Rates.

Before a link to a booking channel is activated, a written contract or agreement must be in place between you, the property, and the booking channel.

Is the booking channel listed on the Links Manager

Request the link to the booking channel on the Links Manager.

Since the channel is listed on the Links Manager, once requested, the linking process will be initiated.

  • In most cases the booking channel will reach out to you to complete the link activation.
    Keep an eye out for email communication from the booking channel.

Are you an existing client/partner of the booking channel?

A written contract or agreement must be in place before the link to the booking channel can be activated.

Contact the booking channel directly

If you're an existing client or partner to the booking channel, contact the booking channel and inform them that you are a NightsBridge client.

Provide the booking channel with your NightsBridge BBID.
Certain booking channels have the ability to add properties to their booking channels themselves, using the information provided by NightsBridge.

If you're not currently a client or partner of the booking channel, contact the booking channel and inform them that you are a NightsBridge client and are interested in listing on their booking channel.

Provide the booking channel with your NightsBridge BBID.
Certain booking channels service very niche markets. These channels often select properties to be listed on their booking channel based on its location, services or unique selling points.

Send a link request via email

Once you have an agreement or contract in place with the booking channel, an email request can be sent to our Channels Team.

In your request to link to a booking channel, please include:

  • Your name
  • BBID
  • the booking channel name

Once you have received confirmation that your link to the booking channel as been activated, you can proceed with linking the corresponding STO rate sheet to the channel on Web Rates.

This article to guide you through setting up an STO rate sheet to link to the booking channel on Web Rates.

Once you have created your STO rate sheet, return this process to link the rate sheet to the respective booking channel.

Link the STO rate sheet to the booking channel

Go to Web Rates

  • Select 'Channel Management' from the Main Menu
  • Select 'Web Rates'

Alongside the booking channel:

  1. Click the drop-down menu
  2. Select the existing or newly created rate sheet from the list
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page
  • Click on 'Save'
