How to get bookings from your website with a Book Now button

The Book Now button on your website allows guests to instantly book their accommodation, using the NightsBridge Booking Form link (URL).

Why should you have a Book Now button?

  • One of the main benefits of NightsBridge is we offer you live availability from your own website.
  • Live availability allows guests to instantly secure their accommodation, without having to go to a booking site to book, or another property that offers the instant booking option.
  • You are not charged commission charged on bookings taken via the booking form link.
  • The Book Now button is a great way to get a return on investment from your website, and convert those lookers into bookers.

Why we recommend you use a Book Now button rather than embedding the booking form in iFrames

The booking form is Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS)

  • The booking form is HTTPS.
  • If the booking form is added in an iFrame of a website that is not HTTPS, potential guests may be reluctant to enter their personal details on a website when they are not confident their information is secure.

The booking form is fully responsive

  • The booking form is fully responsive.
  • iFrames are inherently not fully responsive.
  • If the booking form is added in an iFrame, the booking experience may not be as good as it might be. This could reduce the chance of a potential guest booking.

Where on your website should you place your Book Now button?

Position on your web page

  • The Book Now button must be easy to find on every page on your website.
  • The button should be placed in the upper half of your web page so it is viewable without scrolling.

Placement on pages

  • We recommend that the Book Now button is added onto the accommodation page and every other page on the website so guests can book from whichever page they visit.

Open in a different tab

  • The link from the Book Now button should open in a different tab. This means a guest can return to your website if they need to after they have made a booking.

How do you add a Book Now button to your website?

  • Your website designer can add the Book Now button to your website or we can do it for you. Please look at our article on how to add a Book Now button if you need more information on that.
