NightsBridge Pay is designed to make taking payments safe, simple, and stress-free. To keep your transactions running smoothly and protect your account from unexpected banking delays, here is a clear guide on how and where you can use NightsBridge Pay.
Permitted payments: What you can process
NightsBridge Pay can be used exclusively to collect payments for:
- Accommodation: Booking deposits and room payments for reservations at your property.
- Direct extras: Additional products or services directly connected to a guest's stay (such as breakfasts, transfers, or extra room amenities).
What is excluded?
NightsBridge Pay cannot be used to process payments for unrelated products or services - such as sales from a separate retail store, farm stall, or external side business. Keeping your transactions strictly related to guest stays forms part of the NightsBridge Pay Terms and Conditions.
Managing payments for multiple properties
Each NightsBridge Pay activation is uniquely linked to a specific property account (BBID).
- If you manage or own more than one property, you cannot process payments for one property using another property's BBID account.
- Every property requires its own activation: NightsBridge Pay must be activated on each property's individual BBID so payments are processed under the correct property account.
Why are these guidelines so important?
Following these rules keeps your business and funds protected:
- Bank security and avoiding holds: Merchant banks continuously monitor payment activity to make sure transactions match the registered property and location. If payments appear to come from a different location or an unrelated business, the bank may temporarily put a hold on your funds while investigating.
- Clean bookkeeping & reconciliation: Keeping payments tied to the correct BBID ensures your financial records stay accurate and makes matching payouts to bookings effortless.
Do I have to pay twice if I own multiple properties?
Not if you use the same bank account!
- Shared banking details: If your properties share the exact same bank account details, you will only be charged once for NightsBridge Pay.
- Activation is still required: Even though you won't be charged extra, NightsBridge Pay must still be activated separately on each property's BBID.
A quick note: Simply let our Support Team know if your properties share banking details so we can apply the correct billing arrangement to your account!
