Plum Accommodation: How it works

About
  • Plum Accommodation is not a public-facing website. 
  • Travel agents and agencies have access via secure logins to book accommodation, fights and car hire on behalf of their clients with Plum Accommodations' ongoing support.
Who books here?
  • The agent who books on behalf of their client, using the Plum Accommodation booking system.
How to sign up
  • Open your Homepage >> Integrations >> Integration Requests Links Manager
  • Tick Corporates and Agents (Corp15) to request the link.
  • Once we have enabled your link, Plum Accommodation will retrieve your property information from NightsBridge. You will then be bookable.
Bookings
  • Bookings are all instant via NightsBridge.
Content: Listing
  • Plum Accommodation uses our content as added by each property. 
  • Changes made on your NightsBridge take 24-48 hours to update.
Payments
  • The agent pays Plum Accommodation who will then pay you via CAPS.
  • Full payment is made via CAPS based on the arrival date of the booking.
  • If there are any outstanding amounts, contact the agent to arrange payment or the agent will tell you that the guest must settle directly with you.
Refunds

  • The property needs to refund Plum Accommodation.
  • Plum Accommodation will refund the agent.
Countries/Currency
  • South Africa only.
  • ZAR only.
Commission
  • 15% (including VAT)
Invoicing
  • At the time of payment, CAPS generates the invoice made out on behalf of the property to Plum Accommodation. 
  • These invoices are stored in your Owners Login >> Payments >> CAPS.
Rates
  • NightsBridge provides your RACK Rates as entered in your NightsBridge Setup to Plum Accommodation.
  • VAT and commission payable to Plum Accommodation must be included in your rates.
Corporate allowances
  • Corporate allowances are not enabled for Plum Accommodation.
Specials and packages
  • Should you choose to, you can load and link Specials and Packages to Plum Accommodation via your NightsBridge Setup.
  • Please note that Specials and Packages rates will also have the 15% commission charged on top of the discount.
Policies

The policies you have set up in NightsBridge are automatically applied to bookings made via Plum Accommodation:

  • Cancellation policy
  • Child policy
  • Minimum length stay
How to  cancel your link
  • Contact NightsBridge if you would like to cancel your link to Plum Accommodation.
