How does PayBridge Lite work for deposits?
- When a guest makes an online booking via credit card, PayBridge deducts the deposit payment as per the deposit policy you have entered in the NightsBridge setup.
- You receive an email when PayBridge Lite attempts to process the card, indicating the amount processed and whether the payment was successful or not.
- If the card was declined, you also receive an email. In this case, you should reach out to guest directly to arrange payment, or wait for the guest to arrive to process payment on your card machine.
- PayBridge makes payment to you within two to three business days of the transaction.
How does PayBridge Lite work for balance payments?
- You will take the balance when the guest arrives, and manually process payment on your card machine.
- If the your card machine can process cards not present, then you can send the guest the credit card link for the guest to enter their card details.
- You can then securely retrieve card details after the guest has entered them on the link and manually process the transaction on your card machine.
