How to add rates to a new season

For each season created on NightsBridge, rates need to be applied.

NightsBridge can only show availability and be bookable online for seasons (set periods) that have rates loaded to them.

Click on Step 3: Setup Rates

Choose how you want the rate charged for this room type

  • Click on the drop down arrow next to 'How do you charge for this room?'
  • Select either 'Per Person Sharing' or 'One Price for the Unit'.

  • Per person sharing - this means tht the rate will increase as the number of guests for the booking increases.
  • One price for the unit - this means there is only one flat rate charged for the room, regardless of the number of guests.

Choose whether or not you charge different rates at weekends

Click on the drop down arrow next to 'Do you have different rates at weekends?'

  1. If you charge different rates on certain days of the week, such as weekends, select 'Yes' from the drop-down menu.
  2. Tick the days of the week the different rate will apply to.

Should you charge the same rate throughout the week, select 'No' from the drop down menu.

Click on the first meal plan (if there is more than one)

Enter rates for your new season

Your newly created season will appear at the bottom of the existing seasons, and will display zero rates throughout.

  1. Enter rates by selecting and typing over the 'zero' in each of the fields.
  2. Click 'Save'.

Repeat the steps above and enter rates for additional meal plans - if applicable

Click on 'Save' when you have finished entering rates for all meal plans which are available for the room type.

Continue with your next Room Type

Select your next room type and enter rates, until all your room types have rates.

Once done, click on 'Exit' to return to the main menu of the NightsBridge Setup (Version 6).

Select your NEXT room type and enter rates, then the NEXT and so on, until ALL your room types have rates

Publish your changes

Click 'Publish' on the Setup menu to send the updated rates to the NightsBridge Booking Engine and connected booking channels.

Review your rates online on your NightsBridge Booking Engine

Go to your property's NightsBridge Booking Engine.

Select dates to check availability for each new season that you created.

Confirm that your rates are correct for all the room types and meal plans by selecting one night in each season and selecting different numbers of guests (e.g. adults and children) to see that the correct prices are displayed.

Keep in mind that your rates are your responsibility.

Always test any rate changes online to ensure that they are correct.

After making any rates or season changes, remember to check your minimum stays and other additional settings.
