When you make changes to your room types on your NightsBridge setup, your STO rate sheet needs to be updated with the new rates.
This step will ensure that if you've added a new meal plan, you can distribute them via the STO.
Navigate to Setup
Review the tutorial 'How to find Setup' should you need guidance.
Click 'STO Rate Sheet'
'STO Rate Sheets' is located under the Advanced Options section.
Under advanced options, click on 'STO Rate Sheets'.
Click on the rate sheet you would like to edit
Scroll down to 'Roomtypes / meal plans available to this ratesheet".
Find the room type and edit the rates.
- Locate the room type you would like to adjust the rates of.
- Click on 'Set Rates' to edit the rates.
Enter the rate you would like to charge.
You have two options to add the rates.
Apply the fixed percentage discount to the Rack rates
If you have set a fixed percentage discount to apply to the rate sheet, you can click 'Pull in Rates' to populate the rate fields with discounted rates. This will apply the percentage discount to the current RACK rates.
- Remove the current rates entered.
Note that the 'Pull in Rates' button will not work if rates are already added. - Click 'Pull in Rates'
- Note that the discounted rates have been added.
- Click 'Save' on the Rate Capture screen.
Manually enter the rates
- Input the rates.
- Click 'Save' on the Rate Capture screen.
Check the decimals when adding rates.
e.g. if the rate is R 1500.00 per night, type '1500' and the system will automatically add the decimals.
Please check this for accuracy.
Click 'Save' on the Maintain STO / Rate Sheets page
Publish your saved changes
Click 'Publish' within the orange banner found on the Setup page.
Although changes may be saved while updating the features in Setup, these changes need to be published in order for NightsBridge to distribute them.
Updating information in Setup will trigger the 'Publish' banner. When you see this banner, there are Setup changes that have not been published.
Once you click 'Publish', the changes are updated to the NightsBridge server. Only then is this updated information available to be distributed to any connected booking channels and sites, including your NightsBridge Booking Engine.
After you have published the changes, please go back to the to the rate sheet to double check that the rates have been captured correctly.
