NightsBridge has worked alongside industry partners to solve the Check-in problem for clients who don't use our own BridgeIT or PC Bridge calendars.
If you don't use a NightsBridge Reservation system, but instead use something like Semper or Hotelier as your Property Management System, then you can now make use of an online Check-in and registration form, that can be sent to their guests via Email, WhatsApp or SMS.
What is the online check-in and registration form for?
The online check-in/registration form can be sent to guests for completion 24hrs prior to their arrival.
The form is designed to capture details about your guests arrival time and their contact information. It also has a COVID-19 questionnaire that captures the information required to meet current safety protocols.
Who can use this online check-in form?
The version of the Check-in form shown in this tutorial is only for Nsynch properties.

Why should properties offer online check-in?
1. It's safer.
Using this service limits social contact at your front desk. You can meet your guests expectations around safety and protocols.
During the COVID-19 national lockdown, guests need to be contactable in case contact tracing is necessary to prevent the spread of the virus.
If there is an instance of a COVID-19 infection at your property you will need to be able to contact anyone that has stayed there and could be at risk of infection. You will be required to produce your guest information and COVID-19 questionnaires.
2. It's convenient.
It makes the check-in and registration process much easier for you and your guest. The guest can complete and submit the form on any device.
3. It's easy to use.
It simplifies the capture of COVID-19 compliance information.
After it has been completed you'll be able to access all the registration information in one place. There is no need to keep any paper documents on file.
How does the online-check-in work?
Use Email, WhatsApp messages or SMS to send your guest a link to an online check-in/registration form. They can complete the form on any device - mobile, tablet, laptop or PC. Once they have completed the form you can then access the information provided within their booking in Webview.
How long before arriving should guests complete online check-in?
No more than 24hrs prior to arrival.
The COVID-19 information must be current in order to adhere to safety protocols.
How to I send a guest a link to online check-in/registration?
NB: The registration will need to be completed for every guest that's staying in the room/unit. If it's a multi-room booking, you will need to send one form per room.

Option 1: Send the online check-in link in a message you write yourself.
Click on 'Copy registration link'.
Clicking this option copies the link to your clipboard so that you can immediately paste it into an Email, WhatsApp message or SMS that you have created for them. You can ask your guest which they would prefer.
Option 2: Send the online check-in link in an automatically generated Email.
Click on 'Email registration link'.
Clicking this automatically generates and sends an email to the guest email address you have stored in your Property Management System. The email contains a link they can use to access the online registration form.
You can update the guest email address in your Property Management System, if there is none.
